Somehow I think my message must be missing the point. Message aside, I personally feel that GM should have been left to find its own financial future path. If that meant failure, so be it. This would have been painful in the short term for sure, but in the long term, if GM survived, they would have become a very strong, viable, competitive company. I have never been a GM fan, that is no secret, and it hurts to see the Billions that everyone's governments are giving them to stay afloat, an yet they still declared Bankruptcy and emerged in much better shape. How is this fair for companies that were able to struggle though this hard time and have not asked for financial bailouts. Governments are for keeping a country held together, for the betterment of all of its people, not for running individual banks and businesses. I am tired of ignorance. Canada bailed out GM Canada, not Americans. Canada now owns part of GM Canada, not America. Open your eyes to the world outside your borders please.

GM is an international company that also received financial assistance fro both the Canadian government and the Province of Ontario. The CAW also gave major concessions to GM. Why do you think that everything came from the U.S? Why do you think its the U. S. God given right to have everything in this world?
